How It Works
When a power outage occurs, your generator
provides electrical power to your home
within seconds. During installation, you
decide which important lights, appliances
and equipment you want to keep running when
utility power goes down. When your stand-by
generator powers up, these crucial items
will continue to operate.
You don't even have to be at home to
start the generator. The generator's fully
automatic transfer switch continually
monitors your utility power. When it senses
a disruption, the generator turns on within
30 seconds - often so fast that you don't
even notice the interruption.
When utility power is restored, the
generator shuts down automatically, and the
transfer switch resumes monitoring for the
next power emergency.
